Ultimate Ship Tour: Crown Princess

Princess Cruises offers The Ultimate Ship Tour to a very small number of passengers on each cruise. The price per person is $150 and inlcudes not only the tour itself, but many other goodies that make this tour a great value for cruise afficianos. Tour size is limited to 12 people and there is only one tour offered per crew.

I recently had the chance to experience The Ultimate Ship Tour and was given special permission to film and photograph the experience. Normally, photos aren’t allowed for security reasons, and some parts of the tour are omitted from this video. The tour normally lasts 4 hours, but do to the nature of my research, our tour lasted over 5 hours to accommodate the questions and interviews the writers and twitterers had regarding environmental concerns of the Cruise Industry.

I did sneak away from the group when no one was looking and also have some super-secret footage of what really went on during the tour. If you are looking for environmental information regarding the cruise industry, you’ll have to go elsewhere. I’m more interested in the overall cruise experience and providing information for my readers about this cruise that I was unable to find elsewhere.

You certainly took advantage of your behind the scenes look at a cruise. Glad to know this is available to all passengers. I bet most don’t have as much fun as you did. Great video.

Maybe rum would have been better? Seems like the drink of choice in the region :)
