I didn’t get a chance to overnight, but I did stop in for a girlfriend getaway cocktail gathering before a spectacular dinner at the onsite dining experience, Le Champlain.

This castle that overlooks Old Quebec City is simply magical. I felt like a princess sipping Champagne and nibbling on canapes in the same suite Princess Grace of Monaco resided in during her 1969 visit. My compadres and I spent some quality time visiting with each other and enjoying the sounds of Lounging with Fairmont III, the third installment of this signature collection of hip tunes for travelers.
Soon, our glasses were empty, the Champagne bottles were dry, and our nibbles had somehow disappeared. It was time for our group to migrate downstairs for our Girlfriend Getaway themed dinner. As I walked out of the Grace of Monaco Suite, I was shocked to see this photo hanging on the wall. It was Princess Grace of Monaco dancing in a ballgown with a man who looked eerily like Tom Cruise!
