I am new to Louisiana and I live in a wonderful town of Hammond not far from Baton Rogue and I love it and Mardi Gras it is fun and we have festivals all year long my favorite is Strawberry Festival they have all kind of strawberry treats. Gotta love it here there is no where else in the US like it

New Orleans is the Mardi Gras capital! We are going to Rio next year for Carnivale and I anticipate that making the LA festivities look like playschool.

New Orleans! We went there the week after Mardi Gras and my daughter spent the entire week picking up all the discarded necklaces and other junk. She wanted to move there!
